absolute lovely gem! I can taste the sweet-softness flavor of a cupcake with sour strawberry filling/topping through the game and art style, ate em all up... The ends, bunnies and bushes didn't disappoint me! Characters managed to take up all my sympathy, intrigue, interest points with Strawberry deserving her much love and happiness in the happy end (also maybe a long break from the forest haha, go out to a beach sometime!) as the cherry on top ^^
Just left a review, hope it helps. I love this game, as heart wrenching as it is. I'm going to enjoy the rest of your games, I suspect. Thank you for sharing your work.
my friend loves this series. both me and him are looking forward to the next installment. maybe a Berrywitched 2? if so, maybe Cherry Pie can make a comeback as one of the main antagonists alongside Memorial!
I think she was most likely mislead about the purpose of her stay there. She was probably meant to be a guide for people who already committed suicide in that forest and to make their last moments somewhat pleasant. They didn't have the heart to tell her that directly so Strawberry had to suffer immense consequences for it. Wonderful game btw. I really like how the good ending recontextualizes her entire behavior after all the sad endings
I found your games through Youtube and just finished playing your game here. since the game does have a implication of a continuation in the future I look forward to seeing it. If you ever need a extra person to bounce ideas off of I write in my spare time and wouldn't mind hearing ideas.
this game is incredible! the art inspires me so much, and the story really made me think. i don't often feel like replaying games for a different ending, but the story in this was so interesting to me that i just had to. the good ending is just the right amount of hard to get, and it feels so rewarding when you get it. please keep making games, you're amazing at it!
i liked it, less horror and more just sad but quite. there art and voice acting was fantastic, and the ENDINGS were well thought out. but one complaint I have is memorial and buttons. I like there designs and voices but what purpose do they server in the story? other than that five start. great game. (btw play cherrywithced)
The strawberry voice acting is so cute as well as the strawbunnies in which I would like to play with the character sprites. I have been watching the gameplay and I decided to do it as well like I got all the five pages to get the good ending and I think I took too long because I was backtracking around Strawberry's room and cafe just to get one more paper and I didn't realize it was on the ground near the well where strawberry is. I understand that most people wanted to get all the endings but for me, I wanted to run the visual novel. Also please check out my video I posted! (those of you who were reading this)
Oh, how adorable Strawberry and Strawbanny are! But it was quite thrilling and interesting to see how the story could take a crazy turn with just a few wrong choices or actions. And the Good End that was reached at the end of that madness was soooo good!
I'm not an English speaker, so I played the game while translating, but I could still feel Strawberry's suspicious behavior and the kindness in it. And Strawberry's fashion design is so lovely!
Ending 1: The Loop Ending 2: Cannibal Cake Ending 3: Wicked Witch Ending 4: Rumors and Legends Ending 5: Captive Audience Ending 6: Spineless Ending 7: Good Ending

Comments and Review:
I loved playing this game. It was cute, simple, and filled with plot twists I would have never seen coming. The overall story left me with a few questions and that may be because I haven't played Cherrywitched. However, I am curious who Buttons and Memorial are. Were they the ones who sent Strawberry there? Why do they want her dead? Are they working alone or are there bigger factors coming into play?
So far, I have concluded that Strawberry's sister is Cherry Pie and their mother is Inquiry. Strawberry was friends and/or peers with the Raspberry Witch (Unnamed) and the Blueberry Witch (Unnamed). Strawberry also works for Memorial, since she said Buttons' was the boss' assistant. Please correct me if I am wrong. I love lore.
Overall, the game itself is very well thought out. I can tell how much detail and emotions were put into it. My only comment/suggestion is similar to what a few others commented about, how the rope somehow returns after giving it to strawberry in the graveyard scene. If you fix it, that would be a great eighth ending.
My overall rating is 5 out of 5 stars because of how well this game performs. It was simple, fun, and easily caught my attention. I hope to be able to play the next one when it comes out. Keep up the good work, both you, the creator, and the crew.
Wonderful! We're glad we took the time to play through the remake, even with the story updates aside. We enjoyed the diary illustrations a lot, and even ended up getting drawn in by a number of cute little details (in particular, the way the sprites lean when they run and Memorial having "?!" as a placeholder name instead of "???" got us good). We also went back to check out all of the cupcake dialogue combinations since we absolutely love that stuff, and funnily enough managed to get Inquiry's by complete accident on our first go. The inescapable allure of purple icing...
One thing we figured we'd mention, however, is that we managed to get the gate ending aftergiving up the rope to Strawberry. We got the Gate Key beforehand and wondered if we'd get a different scene upon checking out what was behind the bakery, only to be caught off-guard by the rope making a triumphant return. Just a minor thing.

Ah! Thank you!
